Epic Welcomes Martin Kelley

Marc Raymond, Chairman & CEO, is pleased to announce that Martin Kelley has joined Epic Production Technologies as Senior Account Executive.

Martin developed an interest in production lighting as a student working in the amateur theatre department for school productions. In 1992 he joined Stagetech, a Toronto sound and lighting company where he worked as a lighting technician, board operator and eventually production manager.

In 1996 Martin joined Christie Lites where his career developed from technician to respected lighting consultant and designer of music videos and tours for a number of well established Canadian artists. As an account representative at Christie, Martin also consulted on many television and feature film productions and was the club lighting designer on the film '54' based on the infamous New York nightclub.

Over the past decade Martin has focused his career on the sales and account representation side of the business, developing strong relationships with top lighting designers and providing custom lighting solutions to the international concert, television/film and corporate event industries. Most recently he has worked closely with Rage Against the Machine, The Killers, Feist, Daughtry, Virgin Festivals and Linkin Park.

Martin says he is extremely excited about his move to Epic and the opportunity to bring his passion for the industry to a company that is involved in such a wide variety of projects. "I have known and greatly respected many of the people connected to Epic throughout my career and feel that this is the company that can give me the opportunities and challenges I am looking for".

Epic CEO Raymond said "I am thrilled to welcome Martin to the Epic family, his professionalism, his engaging personality and his years of experience working with world class artists and events make him a perfect fit with our rapidly expanding organization".

Epic Production Technologies was founded in 2008 with the merger of Q1 Production Technologies and Ed & Ted's Excellent Lighting. The company is currently touring with Billy Joel/Elton John and Beyonce.
